Informational only — not a survey
Can I Loop? provides informational analysis to help you screen used boats against the Great Loop's requirements. It is not a marine survey, a sea trial, a mechanical inspection, an appraisal, or professional advice of any kind. It does not replace any of them.
Always get a professional survey and sea trial
Before buying any boat, hire a qualified marine surveyor and conduct a sea trial. Our analysis is meant to help you decide which boats are worth that step — not to substitute for it. A boat that "passes" here can still have serious problems only a survey will find.
How to read our claims
Every claim carries a confidence tag — verified fact, listing claim, fleet pattern, inference, or open question. "Verified" means an identified source (an owner, a spec sheet, a document) confirmed it; it is not a guarantee. Patterns and inferences are leads to confirm, not established facts about a specific boat. Always confirm anything that affects your decision.
No guarantee; your decision
We don't guarantee that any information is accurate, complete, or current, and we're not responsible for boat purchase or non-purchase decisions you make. Those decisions, and their outcomes, are yours.
