How it works
The goal is a confident go / no-go on a boat before you spend on a survey — by doing the cheap homework first, in one place, with every claim tagged by how much to trust it.
Add a boat
Paste the listing text — we never scrape or fetch listings. It's parsed into structured specs you review, so nothing is saved that you haven't seen. Price, engines, tanks, layout — whatever the listing actually states.
Get an instant read
The hard gates score right away — air draft, loaded draft, range — as pass, fail, or needs-verifying. Alongside it, a model profile: the known traps for that exact model — researched from the owner forums, reviews, and boat tests and cited to its sources, not pulled from one listing. Every item is tagged by confidence, and none of it is a verified Fact until a human confirms it.
Do the homework
Every open question lands on a checklist. Comb the listing first — the photos, the spec sheet, and the description often answer them — and verify what you can yourself; each answer re-scores and drops off the list. Then send the broker or owner only what's left (we draft the note; you send it). No money spent yet, and the read sharpens as the answers come in.
It gets more trusted over time
Owners and buyers confirm and correct the model profiles, so each model converges toward verified truth — and the next shopper of that boat inherits it. Your search feeds the next person's, and theirs feeds yours.
Decide before you survey
Now you know whether this boat is even worth a survey. The survey and sea trial still happen — but only on a finalist that already cleared the homework, so the money's spent well instead of wasted on a boat that was never going to fit.
Every claim wears its confidence
You always know how much to trust a line — that's the whole point.
We don't replace the survey — we keep you from wasting one on a boat that was never going to fit.
