Can I Loop? ("we," "us") helps people evaluate used boats against the requirements of the Great Loop. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Questions: jesse@caniloop.net.
What we collect
- Email address — when you reserve founding access or otherwise contact us.
- What you submit — a boat listing link or model you ask us to look at, and any notes you send.
- Usage & device data — standard log and analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location, browser/device), collected via cookies and similar technologies.
- Advertising data — if you arrive from an ad, our advertising partner (Meta/Facebook) may set cookies and share limited event data (e.g., that you reserved) so we can measure the ad. See Cookies below.
How we use it
- To contact you about launch, your reservation, and the boat you asked about.
- To operate, measure, and improve the site and our ads.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only service providers that help us run the site and reach people — for example our hosting provider, email provider, and advertising/analytics partners (including Meta). They may process data on our behalf under their own terms. We share only what's needed for those services.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for basic site function, to remember your session, to measure traffic, and — if enabled — for advertising measurement via the Meta pixel. You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site works. Where required, we'll ask for consent before setting non-essential (advertising/analytics) cookies.

- Access or delete your data — email jesse@caniloop.net and we'll handle it.
- Depending on where you live (e.g., California/EU), you may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.
Children
The site isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
