It's a planing pilothouse — range figures are speed-dependent math.
Published performance is planing-speed performance. Any range number collapses or stretches with how you actually run her, so plan Loop legs on measured burn at your speeds, not the brochure's.

CLAIM
A predecessor-family owner reported light-feeling build and hard roll at anchor.
One former Carver 53 Pilothouse owner (he calls it near-identical to the 57) reported interior rattles at idle and marked rolling at anchor, and moved to a trawler after a year. That's the PREDECESSOR pilothouse family, one owner — carried here as the line's reputation to test, not as a 560 finding.

On the sea-trial day: listen at idle for the rattle story, and ask the owner plainly how she behaves at anchor and in beam chop. If roll matters to you, stabilization is a criterion worth weighing.
