Luhrs Marine Group / Morgan Industries filed Chapter 11 (District of New Jersey) in April/May 2012; Marlow Acquisitions bought the Mainship molds, tooling and branding rights in August 2012. The original Mainship that built your Mainship 34 is defunct: its powerboat operations ceased in January 2012 and the parent filed Chapter 11 that spring. The brand name, tooling and branding rights were acquired by David Marlow (Marlow Acquisitions) in August 2012 and live on as "Marlow-Mainship" / "Marlow Pilot," built in Alachua, FL. Reading the boat

CONTEXT
It's a trawler: the range figure only holds at trawler speed. Run it faster than its efficient cruise and the range math collapses. Plan Loop fuel at the slow number, not the brochure's top speed.

What is the actual air draft, and what comes down? Listings often DO print an air-draft figure. What's missing is a confirmed one, and the number is frequently the builder's brochure rather than this hull with its actual antennas, arch and dinghy. Measure the tallest fixed point with everything up, and do it with the boat LIGHT: she rides highest with empty tanks, so that's the worst case you have to clear.
